The ladder like item on the wall is called a Bier and was used to carry a corpse or coffin to the grave. This one is in St Rhychwyn Church, Llanrhychwyn, north Wales.

On 17th June 2001, a bronze sculpture was unveiled in Glasgow city centre. The statue by Kenny Hunter, one of Scotland's foremost sculptors, is a tribute to all firefighters past and present who have served in Glasgow.

Also called Dead Mans Fingers, this photo was taken at the start of the growing season in 2020.
