GPU Opening Ceremony Exhibition, “Pulse of Life”, took place at the historic Károlyi Castle in Romania

The GPU Opening Ceremony Exhibition, “Pulse of Life”,  took place at the historic Károlyi Castle in Romania, celebrating art, creativity, and the power of bringing people together.

GPU would like to extend its sincere gratitude to Mr. Bikfalvi Zsolt for his valuable contribution to the organization of this exhibition, to all the artists who shared their remarkable works, and to everyone who attended. Your participation and support gave the exhibition its true “Pulse of Life”, making it a meaningful and memorable event for all involved.

Following the very successful City Speaks exhibition held in January in Doha, Qatar, GPU has once again prepared an outstanding collection of photographs, this time under the evocative theme ‘Pulse of Life’.

The exhibition explores presence, detail, connection, and solitude, revealing a shared visual language of life across cultures while creating a rhythm that mirrors how we move through it. Each image functions as a fragment of lived experience rather than a full narrative, allowing viewers to assemble their own understanding of presence, connection, and reflection. By letting 110 images from 69 photographers from diverse backgrounds converse in diptychs and across sections, the exhibition emphasizes the collective nature of human experience while still honoring the individual moments each author preserved.

– Technical support and printing are coordinated by Zsolt Bikfalvi of the Vasile Venig Laszlo Photo Club, with Karolyi Castle providing the eminent venue.
– Project coordination and art direction are carried out by Marija Milovanović, GPU Secretary General.
