The exhibition is entitled “On the Edge of Imagination and Reality”.
János Eifert was born in 1943 in Hungary and he is one of the best-known representatives of his profession in his country but also abroad. His work cannot be sorted into a certain style, he is versatile, constantly renewing, and experimental.
His fame was gained due to his mixed style such as dancing, nude and nature pictures and photos.
He also works as a teacher, speaker, specialist writer and exhibitor.
So far, he has had 242 personal exhibitions, participated in more than 2,000 group exhibitions worldwide, and earned hundreds of prizes, grand prizes, special prizes, and diplomas with his pictures.
FIAP distinction:
– In 1992 ESFIAP (Honorary Excellence), in 2020 EFIAP/b (Excellent Artist Bronze Grade) recognized his work with an award.
– In 2018, he is a five-star exhibiting artist of the PSA (Photographic Society of America) in the Open Color and Open Monochrome categories, and the owner of the EXCELLENCE (EPSA) award granted by the PSA.
– In 2021, he received the Lifetime Achievement Award of the World Association of Hungarian Photographers, as well as the Balogh Rudolf Award, the most prestigious professional recognition of Hungarian photography.
